Remembering victims of the NATO bombing of Serbia

The Ottawa Serbian Heritage Society is marking 12 years since the bombing of Serbia which began on March 24th, 1999, and lasted 78 days. We will pray for the victims of this crime at 7:30PM on Thursday, March 24, 2011 in the Serbian Orthodox Church at 3662 Albion Rd. South.

Twelve years ago, Canada actively participated in the bombing of a sovereign country under the pretense of "humanitarian intervention". These efforts helped create a new country of Kosovo: ruled by criminal structures, a hotbed for illegal drug and arms trafficking, rampant with corruption, and strongly influenced by radical Islam.

Finally today, 12 years after the bombing, is the full truth slowly reaching mainstream media. The "Kosovo freedom fighters" are monstrous thugs who killed hundreds of Serbs and sold their organs to the highest bidders.

Instead of taking responsibility for these crimes, the government of Canada is today ordering our military to bomb another country for the sake of another group of "freedom fighters" in Libya. Are we going to wait 12 years to learn the real motivation for this intervention too?
